Before going any further, a note about Sacto's DeMar DeRozan (22.9 ppg), who has iffy status for tonight due to back issues. If he can't go, it will be the first game he has missed. His team, however, is feeling pretty good at the moment after beating the Suns for the second time this week on Wednesday (never mind no KD...a win is a win!). If no DeRozan, the Kings will look ma lot more like last season, which wasn't bad. De'Aaron Fox (24.6 ppg) continues to excel in the backcourt, and Domantas Sabonis (20 ppg) is around the paint to balance the floor. DeRozan has been a luxury, but Mike brown has enough pieces to shuttle into the mix if DeRozan can't make the post. Regardless, there looks to be something amiss with the T-wolves, whose streak of three consecutive games with 20+ turnovers finally abated on Wednesday at Portland, but there was otherwise no response vs. the lowly Blazers after also losing to them the previous night.
