Ohio State at Texas A&M
(NCAAB) Buckeyes (OSU) vs. Aggies (TAM),
Total: 146.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
That's a bit more like it for A&M, as after getting stunned in the opener at UCF, Buzz Williams and his Ags have regrouped with easy wins over Lamar and East Texas, scoring 92 ppg in the process. Getting SMU transfer G Zhuric Phelps (who missed the UCF loss) into active duty should be a huge plus, as he's already scoring at a 17 ppg clip and figures to take some fo the scoring load off of do-everything senior G Wade Taylor IV. The Ags are now shooting close to 50% from the floor and 38% beyond the arc as the go-go that Buzz infused into his team down the stretch last season has resurfaced in the last two games. This one won't be easy, however, as the Buckeyes have now crashed the rankings, too (at 21 this week; A&M at 23) for HC Jake Diebler, who looked comfy in his role as soon as named the interim replacement for Chris Holtmann last February and has won 11 of 14 games since. The Bucks hit 80+ in their first two games, including a win over Texas in Las Vegas, and have the savvy presence in the backcourt of three-year starter jr. G Bruce Thornton (16 ppg) to provide a steadying hand in College Station. Play OSU-A&M "Over"
