A Maryland preference is based largely upon recent series trends that have all favored the Terps, who have blown out Rutgers three straight, outscoring the Scarlet Knights by 79 points in the process. We'll see if Maryland QB Billy Edwards can follow in the footsteps of predecessor Talia Tagovailoa, who piled up big numbers at the expense of the Scarlet Knights in recent seasons. The Terps actually made a good accounting of themselves last week at Oregon, staying inside of a big spread at Eugene, and won over USC in their last game at College Park. Rutgers snapped a four-game losing streak last week at the expense of Minnesota, but Greg Schiano is now minus top rusher Kyle Monangai (931 YR), and QB Athan Kaliakmanas has tossed just 4 TD passes across the past four games, and five picks across the past five games.
