After watching St Joe's knock off the Red Raiders last night, why can't Syracuse do the same? We suspected Texas Tech was being a bit overvalued after facing a series of outmatched foes, and sure enough the Red Raiders were on the ropes for the entire 40 minutes against the hardscrabble Hawks in Brooklyn. The games was controlled by St Joe's Gs Erik Reynolds II and Xzayvier Brown, who combined for 46 points, as the Hawks also hit 12 of 22 mostly-open looks beyond the arc. The 'Cuse was valiant vs Texas (a slightly-better regarded side than TT) and came within a whisker of the upset last night. Adrian Autry's star G JJ Starling (20 ppg) remains a reliable go-to threat and no reason the Orange can't play TT just as tough as it did the Longhorns last night at Barclays Center.
