Too risky, it seems, to back the Sixers, who appear dysfunctional and that might not improve any with word that Paul George is now down again (at least for a couple of games) with his latest knee injury. Joel Embiid's self-absorption is not resonating in the clubhouse, and with George sidelined once more, it means the only chance we've gotten to see the Philly "Big 3" (George-Embiid-Tyrese Maxey) on the floor together was briefly in the Wednesday loss at Memphis. (Maxey has just himself returned from injury). At 2-12, the Sixers have the worst record in the league. Meanwhile, Jordi Fernandez has the scrappy Nets punching above their weight and off of a good win on Tuesday in Charlotte.
