This is a 10* TOP SIDE on the Tampa Bay Rays.
Whoever gets the start for the Rays and Dodgers, I think that the underdog Rays offer great value to pull off the upset.
Tyler Glasnow is expected to go for Tampa and Clayton Kershaw is expected to go for the Rays.
Both pitchers are coming off losses and each will be out to redeem himself. And up until that point, each had been fantastic, both during the regular season and throughout the playoffs.
There's no reason not to think that each can't bounce back here and battle deep into the latter frames.
LA has been anything but consistent though and after having to win three straight to clinch the NL Crown, a letdown does seem imminent.
The Rays enter under different circumstances, as they jumped out to a 3-0 lead in their ALCS matchup vs. the Astros, before then losing three in a row and then finally putting it all together for a victory in Game 7.
I believe Tampa is set up nicely to "steal" Game 1!
