Total: 8.50 | -115.00 Over
Depending on when you played yesterday's total between these teams, you either pushed or lost if you played the "over."
I had a play on the OVER, and I got down early and ended up with a loss, as Toronto wound up winning 6-2. The Jays got five of those runs over the eighth and ninth innings as well to make it close.
Toronto has now seen the total go UNDER in four straight, while the White Sox have seen the total dip UNDER in four as well.
The finale of this three-game series finally sets up as a SLUG-FEST though in my opinion.
Hyun Jin Ryu (5-3, 3.23 ERA), is coming off a terrible start against the Astros, allowing seven runs over five innings. The Jays' ace is having a good season overall, but he's been better at home (2.67 ERA) than on the road (3.95).
The home side counters with Dallas Keuchel, who is 4-1 with a 4.25 ERA. He most recently allowed two runs over six innings in a no-decision to the Tigers.
It's interesting to note that Keuchel has been better on the road (3.56 ERA), than at home (4.98) this season.
These big-hitting line-ups have been "held in check" for far too long. Ryu is struggling and Keuchel can be "hit or miss" at home.
I'm banking on a this one eclipsing the number sooner, rather than later.
The play is the OVER.
Good luck, NP
