This is a 10* TOP WEDNESDAY TOTAL on the OVER Hawks/Bucks.
Both teams have struggled at times to put points on the board so far in the playoffs. Overall the NBA's post-season has been dominated by great defensive play and shaky shooting.
But I say that changes here in the opener of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Not many would have expected the Hawks to be here, but now Atlanta is going to have to contend with the highest-scoring regular season team in the league. The Bucks will be out to push the pace and get the now defensive-minded Hawks out of their comfort zone.
While their series wins over the Knicks and 76ers were physical defensive affairs, Game 1 of this series appears to me that it'll be much more wide open.
The Bucks have also seen the total go OVER in eight of their last 11 home games when playing with four or more days of rest.
This number is low in my opinion, the play is the OVER.
