This is a 10* TOP THURSDAY TOTAL on the OVER Ohio/UL Lafayette.
I got down early on this one and have a favorable line, but regardless, I expect a much more wide open offensive affiar than what this line is suggesting.
The Bobcats are a highly motivated team after starting the season 0-2, most recently a 28-26 setback at home to Duquesne. QB Kurtis Rourke was 14 of 22 for 168 yards and a TD. O’Shaan Allison had 76 yards rushing in the victory. The defense has been poor, allowing 28.5 PPG thus far.
The Ragin Cajuns are 1-1, as they enter off a 27-24 home win over Nicholls. QB Levi Lewis was 19 of 33 for 304 yards and two TD's. He has a few weapons, and he'll need them again today, as his defense is so far conceding 31 PPG in the early going.
I'm not expecting a lot of highlight reel defensive plays today. Look for these two hungry teams to combine to push this total OVER as the game comes down the stretch.
