This is an 8* SPECIAL on the UNDER Red Sox/Jays.

Both teams have been involved in plenty of higher-scoring games of late, but we're expecting those trends to finally end here in this divisional contest.

The Red Sox have won seven straight. They saw the total go OVER in two of three at the Indians over the weekend, including in yesterday's 8-3 victory.

The Jays have now seen the total go OVER the number in seven straight games after losing two of three at Milwaukee over the weekend, including yesterday's 10-3 defeat.

That's significant in our case here though, as Toronto has seen the total go UNDER eight of its last 11 after playing to five or more straight OVERS in a row.

Kevin Gausman (5-6, 3.19 ERA) gets the call for the Jays. This is the third time he's faced Boston this year and he's 1-0 with a 0.64 ERA vs. it.

Connor Seabold (0-0, 0.00) gets the nod for the visitors, making his second start of his career. A tall order here, but the Red Sox bullpen has been rock solid in June and is rested and ready to back up the rookie.

The stats/numbers and trends all point to the UNDER as the correct call in this one.
