I know that the Blue Jays got burned before the All-Star break in a similar situation where the Royals brought their Triple-A team to town and beat the Blue Jays 3-1 as a ridiculous underdog. The Cardinals play this two-game set without their All-Star corner infielders as Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado are ineligible to play in Toronto. Throw in the fact that Andre Pallante is pitching for the Cardinals against a Toronto team that has started firing on all cylinders after the firing of Charlie Montoyo and it adds up to bad news. Jose Berrios may not be great on the mound but without Goldschmidt and Arenado, it's tough to see St. Louis doing a ton of damage. Ride the Blue Jays north of the border.
