Los Angeles Dodgers -230
(MLB) LA Dodgers vs. Colorado,
Money Line: -230.00 LA Dodgers (Away)
Result: Loss
After a rough series at home against the Nationals earlier this week, the Dodgers have seemingly gotten back on track. Los Angeles blanked Colorado in Coors Field 13-0 Thursday night before having to hang on after another shaky Craig Kimbrel outing to prevail 5-4 Friday night. In this one, the Dodgers send Clayton Kershaw to the mound and he has been excellent against the Rockies in his career. In 45 career starts, he is 24-10 with a 3.47 ERA, a 1.181 WHIP, 85 walks and 294 strikeouts over 277.2 innings of work against Colorado. That includes an 11-7 mark with a 4.81 ERA over 25 starts spanning 149.2 innings at Coors Field. Colorado counters with Kyle Freeland, who has had all kinds of problems with the Dodgers in his career. He has a 4-9 mark with a 4.53 ERA and a 1.355 WHIP over 103.1 innings in 103.1 innings in 19 starts. That includes a 1-2 mark in three starts this season, during which he has given up 12 runs over 15.1 innings. It's tough to have faith in a guy that has struggled so badly in his career against a team. Back Kershaw and the Dodgers.
