For being the better team in the Keystone State, it's been a struggle for the Phillies in this series. They led 8-2 Thursday night but had to white-knuckle the ninth inning en route to an 8-7 triumph. That was followed by back-to-back extra-inning triumphs on Friday and Saturday. On the plus side, Philadelphia sends Aaron Nola to the hill here on getaway day and he's looking to break out of his recent struggles where he has dropped three of his last four starts. What makes it even better is the fact that the Pirates counter with JT Brubaker, who has struggled to put games in the win column this season. He's just 2-8 with a 3.96 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP over 100 innings in 19 starts this season. Pittsburgh is only 7-12 in his starts and are 0-3 in his July outings. The Pirates have a pop-gun offense and they don't get much going against Nola. Back the Phillies in this contest.
