Result: Loss
Atlanta has been a dangerous team at home this season. The Braves are 42-24 at home on the year and they are third in the majors with 4.97 runs per game overall on the season. They remain tied for third in runs per game at home as they put up an average of five runs a night at Truist Park. Max Fried takes the hill for the Braves in this one: he's won his two starts since coming off the concussion IL. Perhaps more importantly, he faces a Rockies team that is explosive at Coors Field (5.69 runs per game) but extremely weak on the road (29th in the majors with 3.03 runs per contest) this season. Jose Urena has just two wins in his last 10 starts and he's been roughed up lately. He's given up 16 runs on 19 hits with seven walks and nine strikeouts over 14 innings in his last three starts. That includes getting roughed up by the Rangers in his last start as he surrendered nine runs on nine hits with three walks and one strikeout over 1.1 innings. The Rockies can't hit, Urena can't pitch and the Braves should win this one convincingly.
