While we backed the Blue Jays Friday night in the opening game of this set, the pendulum quickly shifts the other way Saturday. Yusei Kikuchi has been brutal of late for Toronto: he hasn't gone more than five innings in any of his last six starts. In his last three starts, he has allowed 10 runs over 8.2 innings of work. Meanwhile, Corbin Burnes has limited the Mets and Cardinals to a total of two runs over 13 innings in his last two starts while fanning 18 hitters. The reigning NL Cy Young winner has been sharp in his last couple of turns and with Kikuchi struggling, you're putting too much pressure on the Blue Jays' bats to paper over a mediocre mound showing. Look for Milwaukee to even the series with a win here behind their ace.
