Both teams come in off losses in their previous game as they scuffled defensively. Ottawa gave up 11 combined goals in losses to Vegas and Colorado after starting the trip on a positive note by blanking Utah. The Senators have been sound offensively but ranking in the bottom five in goals against per contest is a problem. St. Louis has been solid in their own end for the most part though their offense has been lacking in the early going. The Blues have gone 3-2-0 on the road this season and that includes wins over Toronto and Seattle. Until Ottawa can string together solid defensive performances, you have to fade them a bit. Take the Blues in this one on the road.
