Sam Houston State is a nice story this season as they were right in the thick of the Conference USA race to the end of the season. Now, they lost their head coach as K.C. Keeler took the job at Temple. Phil Longo, late of the offensive coordinator role at Wisconsin, will take over the team next season but right now, the Bearkats are trying to get by without their head man. The Bearkats were a struggling offensive attack most of the season and now have to deal with a Georgia Southern attack that can do plenty of damage, especially through the air. This is a bad matchup for Sam Houston State, who isn't built to hang in shootouts. Look for the Eagles to soar and carry Clay Helton to a bowl win.
