NCAAF Best Bet - Clemson Tigers vs. Texas Longhorns Under 50.5
(NCAAF) Tigers (CLE) vs. Longhorns (TEX),
Total: 50.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is based on what we saw in the SEC Championship Game. Texas had three turnovers, averaged just 1.1 yards per carry on 28 rushing attempts and trotted Bert Auburn out for six field goal attempts. He hit from 41, 42, 37 and 32 while missing from 42 and 51 in the contest. Now, they have to face a Clemson defense that is pretty stout in its own right, having recorded 25 takeaways in 13 games this season, putting them third in the FBS in takeaway/giveaway ratio. Meanwhile, Texas should slow down Clemson's offense as the Tigers throw at the 11th-highest rate in the country while the Longhorns are giving up just 143.1 pass yards per game. Texas gave up only FOUR passing TDs all season, two by Vanderbilt. That means Clemson will likely be held in check, keeping this game under the number.
