One thing we know is that the Yankees’ offense has been back of late. Nick Pivetta was rolling with an 8-1 mark over 10 starts from May 13 through June 29 but was waffled by Tampa Bay in his last outing as he gave up seven runs on eight hits with two walks and four strikeouts over 5.2 innings. In addition, he is 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA, a 1.296 WHIP, six walks and 14 strikeouts over 14.2 innings in four career appearances, three starts, against the Yankees.
