San Diego has taken the first two games of this series, but I think that Arizona will find a way to get the job done here in the finale.
Between Miami and Arizona last year Zac Gallen posted a highly respectable 3-6 record to go along with a 2.81 ERA and 96 K's over 80 innings of work.
He also faced the Friars last year and blanked them with one hit and a walk to go along with eight K's over seven innings.
The Padres turn to veteran Garret Richards, who does have a decent 2-0, 2.25 ERA record in four career starts vs. Arizona, but who is clearly on the downward side of his career now.
Finally note that SD is just 3-7 in its last ten NL home games after back-to-back home victories.
This is a play on the D-Backs.
