THE INSIDERS ROOM'S TOP UNDERDOG #MLB PLAY OF THE NIGHT (OFF 4-1 SUNDAY!)
(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Philadelphia,
Money Line: 128.00 Philadelphia (Home)
Result: Push
This is an 8* play on the Phillies.

We think this is a great spot to pull the trigger on the home dog.

The Phillies are 1-2 as they open this important interleague series with the Yankees, who come to Philadelphia lucky to be sitting a 2-1 after having to come from behind late to secure a 3-2 win in the Nation's capital yesterday afternoon.

Note that the Phillies would go on to leave the bases loaded three times and strand 14 base runner in their 11-6 loss to the Marlins last night.

Jake Arrieta is coming off a decent campaign, going 8-8 with a 4.64 ERA in 24 starts. Note that he's 3-2 with a 3.98 ERA lifetime vs. New York.

JA Happ gets the nod for the visitors and while he's gone a perfect 5-0 with a 1.45 ERA in five starts vs. them, I'll point out that he had a poor 5.14 ERA on the road last year.

Philadelphia is the "hungrier" team here. The pitchers are a "wash" in my opinion, but I look for the more determined home side to deliver once it's all said and done.

Good luck, NP
