This is an 8* ULTIMATE VALUE SUPER SPECIAL on the Braves.

The Jays have had time off over the weekend due to a postponed series, while the Braves are off a 7-2 loss to the Mets just last night.

Both of these starting pitchers have been decent, but I'm giving the big nod to Fried at home here and that's going to be more than enough to tip the scales in favor of the Braves in my opinion.

Matt Shoemaker (0-0, 1.50 ERA) held the Rays to one run off three hits over six innings in his debut ten days ago. Will the extra time off lead to the classic "rest leading to rust" issue? I believe it will, as it's compounded by the Pandemic that is effecting every walk of life for everyone right now.

Max Fried (1-0, 2.31) also looked great against the Rays in his last start, holding them to one run off three hits with one walk while striking out seven over seven innings.

Note as well that Fried was especially good at home last year, going 9-3 with a 3.21 ERA.

I think this line should/could in fact be a lot larger. I'm laying the price.
