This is a 10* RUN-LINE GAME OF THE MONTH on the San Francisco Giants.
I think the Giants are worth laying the 1.5 runs for the plus money return.
Seattle enters off a satisfying series win at home over Texas, including an 8-4 win yesterday afternoon.
The Mariners have won six in a row, but a letdown is now imminent in this tough interleague road venue in my estimation.
The visitors go with rookie Ljay Newsome (0-0, 2.57 ERA), who has been decent, but who is going to struggle here I think. The sample size is just too small and I definitely don't trust that Newsome can keep up these sparkling numbers much longer.
Logan Webb (2-3, 4.71) has posted back-to-back poor outings, but I like the veteran to bounce back at home here.
Webb enters with a decent 35/15 K/W over 36.1 innings and I expect the Giants to give him more than enough support to cover the 1.5 runs.
Lay the 1.5 runs on the Giants!
Good luck, NP
