THE INSIDERS ROOM'S 10* SEC UNDERDOG OF THE MONTH (AFTERNOON START!)
(NCAAF) Alabama vs. Tennessee,
Point Spread: 21.50 | -109.00 Tennessee (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* SEC UNDERDOG OF THE MONTH on Tennessee.

I think Alabama will take the foot off the gas in the second half if it has a big lead. The Crimson Tide are now 4-0 after their 41-24 win over Georgia last weekend.

The Vols come in under the radar here after back-to-back losses and a poor effort in a 34-7 setback to Kentucky last weekend.

It was a terrible effort, as Tennessee was in fact a 6.5-point favorite in that one.

Mac Jones and the Crimson Tide offense is averaging 48.5 points per game in the early going, but note that Alabama's normally stout defense is conceding 28.8 points and 458.8 yards per game.

The Vols are averaging 23.5 PPG and they're allowing 29.2.

Clearly Alabama is the better team on paper and on the field and I'm not trying to convince you otherwise.

But I do think Tennessee will have its opportunities here at home and vs. this porous Crimson Tide secondary.

No outright, but look for Tennessee to play much better than last week's pathetic performance.

I'm grabbing the points!

Good luck, NP
