THE INSIDERS ROOM'S 10* BIG 12 'A$$A$$IN!' (HIGH NOON KICK OFF!)
(NCAAF) West Virginia vs. Texas,
Point Spread: 6.50 | -110.00 West Virginia (Away)
Result: Win
This is a 10* 'A$$A$$IN' on WEST VIRGINIA.

I now love WVU and the points here. Texas could have a bit of a letdown after its 41-34 overtime over No. 14 Oklahoma State last weekend.

West Virginia was a five-point favorite vs. K-State in its last matchup, and it easily prevailed 37-10.

The Mountaineers are also out for a little revenge here after losing this game 42-31 last season in Morgantown.

West Virginia dominated the Wildcats though, who came into that contest ranked No. 16. Jarrett Doege has 11 touchdowns and only three interceptions so far. The defense looked great as well last week, allowing just 225 total yards of offense, while also making three interceptions.

West Virginia averages 33 points per game so far, and it allows 19.8.

Texas averages 44.3 points per game, but it allows 32.5.

Sam Ehlinger was 18 of 34 for 169 yards and three touchdowns in his team's upset win over the Cowboys.

How did Texas win that game? Pretty simple, it won the turnover battle 4 to 0.

The Longhorns were actually outgained 530 yards to just 287, so winning the turnover battle was crucial in that narrow victory.

The win came at a cost too for Texas, which lost top running back Keontay Ingram with a sprained ankle.

The Longhorns have struggled with consistency under Herman in the past after a big win, and Texas is allowing 5.1 yards per play right now as well.

I think this one sets up well for West Virginia, and really the outright win isn't out of the question either in my opinion.

I'm going to suggest grabbing the points with the red hot Mountaineers.

Good luck, NP
