This is a 10* MID-MAJOR GAME OF THE WEEK on Northern Iowa.

I like Northern Iowa to come in under the radar here and comfortably sneak in through the back door down the stretch.

Richmond is 3-0 and the Panthers are just 1-3, and while I'm not in fact calling for the outright upset, I do think the situation favors the underdog today in what I anticipate will be a very tight game.

The Panthers smashed St. Ambrose 98-53 in their last game. Overall Northern Iowa is averaging 80 points and conceding 73.5 per contest.

Richmond enters off a tight 77-72 win over Wofford last time out. The Spiders average 78.3 PPG and they allow 66.7.

Northern Iowa has done well in this spot for bettors as well, going 10-4-1 ATS in its last 15 vs. teams with winning records, while Richmond has in fact struggled in this position by going just 1-3-1 ATS in its last five following a three games or longer SU unbeaten streak.
