This is a 10* NORTH. CONF. TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the OVER Flames/Canucks.

This is a weird NHL season for sure. I thought I was going to enjoy it, but I'm find that I'm not finding it nearly as interesting as the usual regular season, where teams played several out of conference and division games.

But, there are now some patterns and trends which we can start to base our decisions on moving forward and in this case, I think we're going to see a higher-scoring shootout between the Flames and Canucks.

Vancouver finally got off the schneid with a 3-1 win last time out, breaking a six-game losing streak.

The Canucks have seen the total go under in four straight, but I expect a much more wide open affair here in the third game of this four-game set.

The fourth will take place in Calgary two nights from now.

I'll point out finally as well that Vancouver has seen the total go over in seven of its last ten after holding its previous opponent to one or less goals in a two goals or greater home victory in its last outing.

This number is low, the play is the over!
