This is an 8* AFTERNOON COMMUNITY TOTAL on the OVER D-Backs/Reds.

Arizona has struggled with offensive consistency this year, and it faces a tough starter here in the Reds' Luis Castillo, but we're still expecting this total to fly OVER the number.

Castillo is now 1-1 with a 7.14 ERA, most recently getting rocked for four runs off seven hits (with two home runs), in a fortunate no-decision vs. the Giants on Tuesday. He has a 12:1 K:BB, but his control is the issue in the early going right now.

Zac Gallen gave up one run and struck out eight over four innings in what turned out to be a 7-5 loss to the A's in his debut. In his only start vs. the Reds he allowed three runs over five innings.

Castillo's form is not at 100% right now, as he has command issues. Gallen is definitely still unproven at this point, as he missed the first two weeks of the season with a hairline fracture in his arm.

The stage is set for some offensive fireworks. This number is low, the play is the OVER.
