10* TOTAL OF THE MONTH ***AMAZING 6-1 (86%) "GOM" RUN!***
(NBA) Atlanta vs. Philadelphia,
Total: 223.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 223.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Win
This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the UNDER Hawks/76ers.
The first two games have this series have flown well OVER the number. Philly has now seen the total go OVER in four straight.
Atlanta continues to impress. The Knicks were on fire heading into the playoffs, but the Hawks shut down Julius Randle and advanced in five games.
The 76ers are going to have to body up and get some pressure on these outside shooters of the Hawks, or this series is going to be over quickly as well.
Philadelphia struggled in the first half against the Hawks, but then almost made the comeback in the second. The 76ers are "gassed" now heading into Game 2 and the last thing they can do here is turn this into a "track meet" with the Hawks and expect to win.
I look for Philly to put an added incentive on the defensive end after that terrible performance in Game 1. Also note that the 76ers have seen the total go UNDER the number in 11 of their last 14 in trying to revenge a home loss against an opponent in which they allowed 125 or more points in.
I think the Hawks' defense is underrated. I think the 76ers are going to put a ton of focus onto the defensive end after the poor Game 1 effort.
And combined with the above listed strong O/U trend, the play for sure here in Game 2 for me is on the UNDER.
Good luck, NP
