This is a 10* TOP TUESDAY MLB TOTAL on the OVER Jays/White Sox.

Toronto just finished losing two of three at home to the Astros over the weekend, while Chicago took three of four against the Tigers.

These teams have been playing to some lower-scoring games of late, but everything points to a slug-fest here in Game 1 of this series in my opinion.

The Jays go with Robbie Ray, who is 3-2 with a 3.57 ERA. Ray comes in off a strong start over the Marlins, holding them to one run over six innings. Ray's been good this year, but better at home than on the road (he's 3-1 with a 2.99 ERA at home, and 0-1 with a 4.30 ERA on the road.)

Carlos Rodon is 5-2 with a 1.98 ERA, but he enters off his worst start of the year, as he was shelled for five runs over six innings in Game 1 of a double-header last Monday. Rodon's been great overall, but further regression is imminent in my opinion.

I believe this hard-hitting line-ups will garner most of the headlines in tomorrow's summaries.
