If we look at these teams overall seasonal averages on the offensive and defensive ends, then we find that Las Vegas is the superior team.

But if we only take into account their averages in the Playoffs, then these teams are essentially "evenly matched."

And this series has been a tight, very evenly matched one. However, Montreal has for the most part looked better than the favored Golden Knights and it now has a golden opportunity to end this series here and now.

Las Vegas has to be nervous here. It's been favored in every game so far in this series. It's favored again here, despite being on the road and on the brink of elimination.

The only hope the Knights have is to push the pace from start to finish. Las Vegas has to make Montreal play from behind, and if it does that, it has a shot at extending and sending this one back home for Game 7.

I say Game 6 finally opens up offensively.
