I think each starting pitcher will get chased early, and this will then lead to this total flying OVER the number before it's through.

The visitors go with Spencer Howard (0-2, 5.59 ERA) who has struggled since returning to the rotation, especially on the road where he's 0-1 with a 7.38 ERA so far.

The home side counters with Wade Miley (6-4, 2.85), who has actually been a bright spot in this Reds' rotation this year. It's difficult to say anything negative about Miley, so I won't bother, but I just think he's in the wrong place at the wrong time here.

Miley will last longer than Howard, but I still expect the Phillies to post a few runs here.

Finally, note that the Reds have seen the total go OVER in seven of their last ten after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.
