Toronto has seen the total go OVER in two of its last three, including in yesterday's 9-3 win over the Mariners.

Seattle has now seen the total fly OVER in three of its last four.

I think Wednesday's total is now just a little too high.

The Mariners go with Justus Sheffield, who is 5-7 with a 5.69 ERA. He allowed three runs over 4.1 innings in a loss to the Rockies on Wednesday.

Sheffield hasn't been great, but his counterpart has been decent all season.

Steven Matz is 7-3 with a 4.26 ERA. He's fresh because he was on the COVID 19 list for the last month. It was a mild case and he was able to practice in isolation the entire time. He also just threw a 60 pitch simulation, so he'll be under a full workload here in this favorable matchup.

Note that Seattle has seen the total go UNDER in eight of its last 11 in trying to revenge a five runs or greater road loss to an opponent.

Look for this one to sneak UNDER this sky-high number.
