This is an 8* EARLY O/U SPECIAL on the OVER White Sox/Tigers.
Yesterday's game stayed UNDER the number despite plenty of hits and men left on base.
While my play on that one came up short, I think the value has now finally swung the other way on this total.
The White Sox go with Reynaldo Lopez, who is 3-3 with a 3.00 ERA. He's off a terrible outing, allowing seven runs off seven hits over four innings in a loss to the Angels on Thursday. Lopez has steadily reclined over the last month or so, as he enters having not posted a victory in four straight starts.
The home side goes with Casey Mize, who is 7-8 with a 3.64 ERA and who gave up one run over three innings in a loss to the Rays on Friday. The rookie is under a pitch count for the rest of the season, and I definitely do not have a lot of trust in this Detroit bullpen.
Two inexperienced arms at this time of year lead to early exits and for this total to finally fly OVER.
