Both teams have been involved in some higher-scoring affairs of late, but I like the way the opener of this series sets up as being a bit more of a "DUEL."
The Dodgers go with Tony Gonsolin, who is 3-1 with a 2.93 ERA and who will make his third start of the season for LA. In his other two starts he allowed one run over eight innings while striking out nine.
The home side goes with Humberto Castellanos (2-1, 4.11) who is off a no-decision to the Astros on Saturday, allowing three runs off eight hits over five innings. He's not expected to pitch too deep today either, but note that Arizona has seen the total go UNDER in five of its last six after playing to B2B OVERS.
I expect some runs to be scored, but not enough to eclipse this sky-high number.
