We tread lightly at the start of the season, looking to pick and choose some good "spots" until we have an overall "feel" of what teams are all about. I think this is a great "spot bet." Buffalo is expected to take a step forward this season after struggling last year. There's only one way the Sabres can go. Montreal inexplicably advanced all the way to the Stanley Cup Final last year, but many of those pieces are gone, and starting goaltender Carey Price isn't even playing yet this season due to personal reasons. The Habs are also off a tough 2-1 loss just last night in Toronto. I say the Canadiens struggle to make the Sabres energy here. Great situational play on the SABRES.
