This is a 10* AFTERNOON TOP TOTAL on the OVER Kings/Mavericks.

We think this one sets up well as more of a wide-open affair, rather than a defensive one.

Dallas is averaging only 97 PPG so far. It's coming off a poor 106-75 loss to Denver, one night after beating Sacramento 104-99. Dallas has seen the total go UNDER in every game so far this season.

The Mavs will be eager to break out of their offensive slump, and what better team to try and do that against than the high-paced Kings, who average 111.0 PPG. Sacramento is off a 113-109 road win at New Orleans, pouring in 36 points in the fourth quarter (but allowing 37 in the process!) Sacramento has seen the total go UNDER in four of five.

Too many UNDERS. Perception has driven this total a few points lower than it normally would be in my opinion.

Despite who is playing for Dallas today, I expect an up-tempo style of game here, one which blasts past the posted number sooner, rather than later.
