This is a 10* NON-CONFERENCE TOTAL OF THE YEAR on the OVER Rangers/Canucks.

Vancouver has seen the total go UNDER in five straight. It's lost three straight at home. All three have been low-scoring, frustrating, one-goal losses.

First it lost 3-2 to Minnesota, then 2-1 to Philly, then 2-1 to the Oilers.

That was three nights ago though and I expect this desperate and goal-starved Canucks' side to come out flying here to try and take the Rangers out of their comfort zone.

New York has been exceptional defensively, but I think it'll have its hands full here. Thankfully for the Rangers their goal-scoring has picked up of late, as they've notched seven combined goals in two straight wins.

Finally, note that Vancouver has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 11 after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.

Considering the above circumstances, trends and numbers, I definitely feel that this number is to low.
