St. Mary's is 10-2. It's won four of its last five games. The Gaels are off a win over Division II Stanislaus State, pulling away for the 76-39 victory. St. Mary's does have one of the best defenses in the nation on paper (57.6 PPG allowed), but some of its competition has been extremely weak, skewing both of its offensive and defensive stats. Dan Fotu is one of only two players averaging in double figures and he only had three points in the last game.

SDSU is 6-3 and it's won two of its lats three games. The Aztecs last two losses have been against Top 25 teams, so their resume can't be called into question like their counterparts. SDSU is also one of the best in the nation on the defensive end in the early going, conceding just 59.2 PPG. Matt Bradley led the Aztecs last time out with 22 points.

SDSU is a perfect 5-0 at home this season, and that's a stat that we can't ignore here.

These teams are evenly matched on paper, but I think that Aztecs dig deep here at home and deliver.
