Georgia Tech is 6-6 overall this season, while Duke is 11-1. While the Blue Devils get caught "looking past" their lowly opponent today to their matchup with Miami next? Maybe. An issue here for sure is chemistry. Will rest lead to rust? I think so. Note that Duke hasn't played since December 22nd.
Either way, I do think that Duke will take the foot off the gas here in the second half and I expect the hungry Yellow Jackets to comfortably sneak in through the back door with the large spread that they've been given here. Overall they average 69 PPG, while allowing 68.
Duke is head and shoulders better than the Yellow Jackets, and this spread properly showcases that discrepancy. The overall situation heavily favors the visiting side though.
This is a few too many points to be giviing up.
