Looks like a good spot (and price!) to pull the trigger on the home side in this matchup.

Detroit won't be lacking for motivation here as it's off back-to-back losses, including a 5-1 setback here at home to Boston in the most recent. With a Western road trip starting on Thursday, I believe the Red Wings deliver here at home against the visiting Sharks.

San Jose won two straight at home (an 8-7 shootout victory over lowly Arizona, before then holding on for a 3-2 OT victory over lowly Philadelphia), before then getting crushed 8-5 in Pittsburgh in its most recent. With upcoming games at Buffalo and Philadelphia, I expect the Sharks to get caught looking ahead here.

San Jose has scored two goals or less in five of its last 12 games and I believe that offense will once again struggle here.

Consider Detroit on Tuesday night.
