This is a great "situational" play, which is backed by some very strong O/U ATS trends.
Vancouver had seen the total go OVER in three straight before its most recent 3-2 win over Toronto. The last time the Canucks faced the Sharks though, they managed a 5-2 victory at home on December 16th. I believe we'll see a similar final combined score here as well.
San Jose is beyond desperate for a win here after four-straight losses. That includes a listless 3-0 loss to the Oilers here two nights ago. The Sharks though have seen the total go OVER the number in 13 of their last 17 after a home shutout loss.
With each side pushing the pace, expect this one to fly well OVER the number.
