Am I predicting an outright upset here? Of course not. I simply feel that Arizona will take the foot off the gas in the second half, allowing the lowly Cardinal to sneak in through the back door down the stretch.
Stanford is off a 53-39 loss to Cal. Arizona is off a 91-71 win over USC. This is, not surprisingly, a revenge game Stanford after it fell 85-57 to the Wildcats earlier in the season.
Stanford averages only 66 PPG, which obviously isn't great, but it's been much more respectable on the defensive end where it concedes just 68.
Arizona averages just over 84 PPG, while allowing just 67.
Stanford though is 7-1 ATS in its last eight in trying to revenge a SU/ATS loss of 20 or more points against an opponent.
I think Stanford puts up a fight and hangs around late.
