10* NBA GAME OF WEEK - 31-12 (+$17K!)
(NBA) Memphis vs. Utah,
Point Spread: -4.50 | -127.00 Utah (Home)
Result: Win
Point Spread: -4.50 | -127.00 Utah (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 10* GAME OF THE WEEK on the Utah Jazz.
Yes, the Memphis Grizzlies look dangerous here at the end of the regular season. Will that success translate and carry over into the playoffs?
That's yet to be determined of course.
But after six straight wins, including a very satisfying 122-114 victory over Phoenix to open the month, I think the extra couple days off here actually throws a proverbial "monkey wrench" into the Grizzlies' chemistry.
Utah on the other hand has lost six of its last seven (SU), and seven straight (ATS).
The Jazz will be very motivated here after a 111-107 setback at Golden State last time out, letting a big lead slip away late.
Utah also plays with the added incentive of "revenge" here after falling 119-109 to Memphis as a five-point dog in late January.
With Oklahoma City coming to town tomorrow, the Jazz have a great opportunity to turn the momentum in their favor to end the regular season.
I say the hungry and revenge-minded home side goes up early and then keeps the foot on the gas from start to finish, while the Grizz come out a bit flat to start, and then get caught looking ahead to their tough upcoming game at Denver next.
Lay the points, the play is UTAH.
Good luck, NP
