I had a play on the UNDER in the Mets' 13-5 win yesterday unfortunately. While that play obviously came up short, I definitely finally am expecting today's total to fall well below the posted number.
The Mets have now seen the total go OVER in seven straight games.
Neither starter has been very consistent so far to open the season, but that just makes each "hungrier" for a decent perfomance tonight.
The Nationals' Patrick Corbin is 1-7 with a 6.30 ERA, while the Trevor Williams is 0-3 with a 4.37 ERA for the Mets.
Corbin is 5-8 with a 4.16 ERA in 21 starts vs. the Mets.
Williams has pitched scoreless ball in three of his past four trips to the hill.
He's 1-3 with a 3.99 ERA in seven starts vs. the Nats.
Today's total is now just a bit TOO high.
