Colorado won two of the three regular season encounters, but we're expecting very tight battle here in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
Both teams are loaded with talent. This series really has a "any given Sunday" type of feel to it. Whatever team gets "hot" here is going to win this series.
Darcy Kuemper has a 2.44 GAA for the Avs, while Mike Smith has a 2.70 GAA for the Oilers during the Playoffs.
I think this one will be decided in the final moments, or perhaps even in extra periods.
Because of that I'm going to lay the reasonable price for the extra 1.5 goals of insurance.
