SITUATIONAL PITCHERS DUEL (+$1,283 YTD!)
(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Seattle,
Total: 7.00 | -105.00 Under
Result: Win
This is an 8* SITUATIONAL PITCHERS DUEL on the UNDER Yanks/Mariners.

These teams played in New York last week and the Mariners went 2-1. Each game went OVER the posted number.

The Yankees opened this series in the Pacific Northwest with a 9-4 victory last night, but we're finally expecting more of a "duel" here on Tuesday, one which will ultimately lead to a lower-scoring UNDER once it's all said and done.

With yesterday's loss, Seattle has now seen the total go OVER the number in three straight, and that's significant to note in our case here today, as the Mariners have in fact seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of their last ten after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row.

Two really strong pitchers here and we're expecting them to battle DEEP into the latter frames.

The visitors hand the ball to Gerrit Cole (9-4, 3.56 ERA), while the home side counters with Luis Castillo (5-4, 2.95.)

Castillo faced the Yanks in his debut for his new team in the Bronx last week, and he allowed three runs over 6.2 innings.

Cole though got rocked by the Mariners, allowing six runs over six innings. With revenge on his mind though, we're expecting Cole to bounce back on the road here where he's 5-1 with a 3.99 ERA.

The Mariners only allow an average of 3.69 runs per game at home, while averaging just 3.93 themselves. The Yanks on the other hand are conceding just 3.79 runs per game on the road this season.

After last night's slug-fest, look for Cole and Castillo to dominate the headlines in tomorrow's summaries of this contest.

This number is high, the play is the UNDER.

Good luck, NP
