This is a 10* TOTAL BOOKIEKILLER on the OVER Orioles/Guardians.

Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but we look for those trends to end this evening.

Baltimore has seen the total go UNDER the number in six straight after yesterday's series opening 5-1 loss here yesterday. And that's signififcant to note, as the Orioles have in fact seen the total go OVER the number in eight of their last 11 still after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row.

Cleveland has seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of its last nine.

Jordan Lyles (9-9, 4.45 ERA) gets the call for the Orioles. He's enjoying a bit of a resurgence this season after two straight poor ones in Texas.

Note though while he's 4-2 with a 2.94 ERA at home, he's only 5-7 with a 5.85 ERA on the road.

Lyles is also just 1-1 with a ballooned 7.59 ERA in two career srarts vs. the Guardians.

The home side counters with Triston McKenzie (9-10, 3.17), who has also been decent of late, but when he faced the Orioles back on June 4th, he was rocked for five runs over seven innings.

I expect the starters to get chased early, and that's going to lead to this total finally flying OVER the posted number.
