10* TOTAL BOOKIEKILLER (OFF WINNER LAST NIGHT!)
(MLB) Miami vs. Philadelphia,
Total: 7.00 | -115.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* TOTAL BOOKIEKILLER on the OVER Marlins/Phillies.

We have a couple of very good starting pitchers going head-to-head here, but I'm still predicting that we're going to see plenty of runs tonight.

Miami will be eager to snap a nine-game losing streak. It's lost the first two games of this series by scores of 3-2 and 4-3 (note that the Fish have seen the total go OVER the number in six of their last nine in trying to avenge back-to-back road losses against an opponent.

The Phillies have seen the total go OVER the number in five of their last six after back-to-back low-scoring home victories that both went UNDER the number.

Sandy Alcantara (12-7, 2.36 ERA) gets the call for the Marlins, while Kyle Gibson (9-6, 4.48) counters for the Phillies.

This is just a case of each of these guys being in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

Keep your eyes on Phillies infielder Edmundo Sosa, who over his past ten trips to the plate has gone 8 for 9 with two home runs, four doubles, five RBIs and five runs.

The overall situation, combined with the above O/U stats/trends make the OVER the correct call on Thursday night in this one.

Good luck, NP
