This is a 10* ATS "BLOOD-BATH" on the Lakers.
At some point the stars and the planets will align for LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the rest of the Lakers. I say that night is tonight.
Clearly, the Lakers will be lucky to even make the playoffs again this year. That said, Minnesota has also looked somewhat shaky to open the season at 3-2. The Wolves most recently bounced back from a 115-106 home loss to San Antonio, to then beat the Spurs two nights later by a score of 134-122 in the rematch. Everyone likes hammering the Lakers these days, but with a game at San Antonio on Sunday, followed by a tough game at Phoenix, then with Milwaukee coming to town, would anyone fault the home side to already be "looking past" LA to that stretch of the schedule?
Clearly, the Lakers don't have the luxury to look past anyone. LA hasn't thrown in towel yet obviously. It'll be all hands on deck with Patrick Beverely returning to face his former team that he helped get into the playoffs last year.
Consider sprinkling a little on the money line as well if you decide to bet the Lakers on the spread.
While I do think an outright win isn't out of the question, in the end the official call will be to grab as many points as you can. The play is the LAKERS.
